Elnet Maritime Center expected to be completed by mid to late 2020
June 27th, 2019, as written by FN reporter Jaimie Smith:
Elnet Maritime Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Operations Manager Elbert Hepburn, in an exclusive interview admitted that, initially, there were a few challenges when seeking funding from a local bank to commence construction of the multi-purpose centre – Elnet Maritime Center and Logistics Warehouse – on Queens Highway.
However, he added, that after overcoming that obstacle by taking a leap of faith and beginning construction of his dream building out of pocket, work has been progressing.
Hepburn broke ground for the multi-million-dollar facility back in August 2018, and local contractors – Spartan Builders and Consultants headed by D’Sean Smith – secured the contract.
“The progress has been an amazing one thus far. Only for the grace of God we have been able to get what we have gotten done to this point,” said Hepburn.
